they already have this data.... just need a legit way to use


it's clear that the NSA and AT&T have pioneering the data mining/tracking of customers internet and phone habits.

this is just a way for them to be able to use, in a non-secret court, damning evidence. think about it. say they can pin-point a pedophile using the current NSA+AT&T system. they can't just give that evidence to prosecutors to use because (1) it's illegal (2) they are still in "deny deny deny" mode. making ISPs track user habits should accomplish the goal of being able to use the info without having to admit that they have the info.

can i get an amen?
