Does this happen during peak hours or all the time?
Also, just a suggestion...It would be helpful if you had a signature indicating which type of modem you have and the satellite/transponder you're on. Users have different sporadic issues depending on what sat/freq they are on. -- DRS grey dish / freq 1360 / satellite G3C / XP pro |

| I have seen a trend the past couple days. If I want to go to google video, I will be able to quickly stream a little bit of any given video, then my connection dies. The same happens with any site that has an embedded quicktime video, it streams a little, then BAM, dead connection.
The connection stays dead until I restart my modem, the all is fine.
After the connection initially dies, I look at my system control center and miraculously it says all is good, but it isn't. Even opening www.google.com brings up a "Suspected Satellite Link Outage"....
This is driving me friggin nuts. I have had D-Way/Hughesnet for about 2-3 years now, and have managed to deal with most of the problems that come with this ISP, but this is just weird. |
