Downloaded and installed it a couple of hours ago from the MS site. Seems to be working fine. Just playing around with it right now.

Did it install the WGA Notification tool (as opposed to the Validation one)?

Thanks!

Installed without incident in VM. Will try it out for a week before installing on my host environment.

Life's 3 rules: 1. Stuff happens 2. Stuff happens on a regular basis 3. Better get used to the first two... (not the actual saying but you get the drift)

FTI:
If you get an email from support@microsoft.com with a link to IE7 RC 1, don't go there: A trojan downloader will get installed and set up a backdoor into your computer. The spoofed message's link takes you to a site that looks convincingly similar to a Microsoft page. The trojan installs via an IE browser vulnerability, according to SurfControl, which is tracking the malicious message and its spread around the Net. The scam is especially timely -- Microsoft today released IE7 for Windows XP.

There are numerous reports that IE 7 is not working properly with Outlook Web Access. Has anyone here tested OWA with IE 7 yet?

M$ is to greedy and stupid!. How can they pretend to win the Browser war when they are the only ones imposing the stupid Windows Validation Crap. There are millions of illegal copies running around, weather by choice, preloaded OS or M$ validation issues that are not going to be able to upgrade or won't bother to upgrade. Must people will ether switch to another browser, keep what they have or wait for Vista.
