[Help Me] DGL-4300 signal not as strong as I would have hoped

I recently ditched my DI-524 for a DGL-4300. I had heard nothing but great reviews so I went ahead and bought a DGL-4300. Turns out my DI-524 has better range than the DGL-4300. With the DI-524 two rooms away I would get 90-100% signal at my kitchen table. With the DGL-4300 in the same location I get a 75-90% signal. This is very disheartening. Any help on this would be great. Thanks!

Re: [Help Me] DGL-4300 signal not as strong as I would have hope

While I don't own a DGL-4300, I believe that it is nothing special (in Wireless terms) besides being a gaming router. So don't expect a great range from it. I guess you have tried turning the antenna? I've noticed that when i put my router on the two rubber stands (not sure if DGL comes with them) I can increase signal strength by 5-10%. Other than that, not sure. If you had waited for the DIR-655 (Next Generation of DGL), you would notice a much greater range since that has new wireless technology.
