I thought it was worth mentioning again...

This is the same sort of "research" Microsoft has other companies do promoting Windows Server as "lower cost" than Linux.

1 edit		 I like how microsoft claims that companies saved $x money, and consolidated x servers, and barely mention that this is mainly due to the fact that they just bought new hardware. >

I also loved how they did a test between MSSQL and Oracle on totally different platforms - one AMD, the other an Intel box, one on linux one on windows.... and used those to claim that MSSQL gets better performance...
