You need to have SOME INCENTIVE to be BETTER than the BEST offers in the country to break into the market, otherwise it's like granting a monopoly to foreign oil... Wait, you Kalifornian's DID overpay for gasoline lately-- what topping $4.00 a gallon???!, so $100 15mbit symmetric is as cheap as a bag of oranges... that being you pay through the nose for the health care of the immigrants the pick the fruit in your medicaid taxes...

I know it and not much to do with a "monopoly".10 miles from here where they(Centurytel) also have cable as competitor the same package is $10 cheaper.Have no other option than dial-up and satellite.:-( |

Otherwise its just a lame excuse for fiberoptics.. as cablemodems can do 30+mbits.. you want to stand out, do 50/50 or 100/100 to start and go UP from there!! |
