Building codes for fiber? Building codes are for buildings, what are they going to do mandate, Cat5. Unless a builder is going to build a huge subdivision then he will place fiber along with the electric, cable and telephone. That isn't really a building code but something that is negotiated when the builder applies for the permits.
A slick builder will place tubes and be long gone when the Internets get stuck. With cities taking all of the profitable EZ build areas the Federal Government, US, will get stuck supplying fiber to the great unwashed. |
