Be careful with some of the vista skins, a couple I tried were badly designed and you could noticeably see that windows/apps would take a bit longer to load or appear.
That guys Vista Glass 2 looked okay and seemed to work at *normal* speed, it's top of his list of skins here:

I recommend you seriously try out this Aerial skin that I've been using for many months, it's black but so usable and pleasant on the eyes for everyday use - I keep trying all the good new skins that get released but ALWAYS go back to Aerial, once you get used to it there's no going back!

This is my favorite... Just choose "add skin" and point WB to this zip file (Aero Style.zip). It will be listed as "Aero Style" in WB after you rebuild the skins list.
