| Can't send email to Comcast addresses, blocked as spam
I dont have Comcast but I want to correspond with friends who do. Problem is Comcast has my ISP's mail server on their blacklist. My ISP says Comcast won't remove it. We think some of our email addresses were spoofed and some spam was sent form Bulgaria. Is that our fault? Why ban the IP for our mail server? It wasnt in the header of some bounced emails. I think Comcast is being unreasonable and maybe lacks the technical ability to examine headers to determine true origin of spam. Comcast should be a little more discerning and realize most spam has spoofed addresses. Not getting your friend's emails? Blame spammers first, then blame Comcasts shot-gun approach of dealing with it. |
