dsl without phone service?

Is it possible to get at&t dsl service without maintaining a landline telephone # service? I'm moving and currently maintain dsl through att (original Ameritech customer back in 2001). I seem to use cell more for phone now (cingular - partner of att).

Is it possible to have dsl through apartments existing phone wires but not maintain a phone # through those wires. My gut is telling me no, but I thought I'd ask before i explore the darkside of comcast.

At&T does offer "AT&T Yahoo High Speed Internet Without Voice Service"
