Re: I need something really small...

I found this flimsy looking little 5 port 10/100 switch on Newegg: »www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a···17201103

Probably not the best performer, but has a smaller power supply than most of the others and is probably lightweight owing to the cheap plastic enclosure.

This 5 port D-Link looks a little bit more sturdy and rather compact: »www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a···17111034

I like how the power and ethernet ports are all on the same side. The design is clean and tight looking too. Probably performs slightly better than the above switch.

Since your posting in the Netgear forum, I'll assume you are partial to Netgear hardware. »www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a···33122005 is a nice compact 5 port Netgear switch, I particularly like the sturdy blue enclosure (look at the picture on the box in Neweggs photos, they updated the design) and it is probably more compact than either of the above. It does look like it has a large power adapter though. You would probably get the best performance with this switch (compared to the other two).

If you are looking for 100/1000 speeds, »www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a···33122128 is probably your best bet.
