| Basically it is perfect. Individuals who have verified service mark their address. It is supposed to be available to my neighborhood at the moment (I am getting it on the 21st) so I dropped a marker on my address. There was already one down the street. Cool. |

I know it's available to some. I live on old pascagoula road (36619) that they said it was available in some areas on that road but not mine.
wtf. I'm not paying comcast or mediacom their outrageous prices. |

I received a big mailer in the mail yesterday and their website says my address is available. Once I call and confirm, I'll leave/remove the pin as needed.
I have a few questions I'm trying to get answered here before I call them but no luck so far. |

If the map as shown today 2/9/09 is complete, this is indeed disappointing. I live in Houston and well over a year ago was told U-Verse IS being deployed here. But when I look at the map only 5 pins are inside Beltway 8, only 2 inside Loop 610. Almost all are located outside the Beltway in outlying upper class neighborhoods. I guess ComCrap is about the only choice for anyone on the North side of town

| reply to lev Would like to see a VRAD map. Would also like to see the C/O map updated to show whether my C/O is uVerse capable.
I see folks with uVerse ~1.5 miles east of me and my C/O (~3000 feet away) is the only C/O within 5 miles of the person who has uVerse on the map. -- I am a bomb technician. If you see me running, try to keep up. |

Uverse is now available in zip code 34984 in Port St.Lucie,FL. We are working as fast as possible to turn more of the city. It is about 6-8 weeks after the vrad is turned up before they release service due to testing the vrad. They want to make sure that all of the cards and the network are good. -- GO NOLES!! |

2 edits | reply to lev It appears as though service is popping up in various neighborhoods located on the northside of Chicago. Underground VRADS are serving these communities.

Can someone in this thread speak more about these types of VRADS?
The existence of U-verse in the city explains why Comcast is rolling out DOCSIS 3.0 service later this month.

| reply to lev So, what do we do if we know that someone posted that they can have U-Verse on the map when they really can't? There is a green pin in Lawrence, Kansas right now, it has been there since 2004. However, just in the last 2 months have they started installing V-Rads in Lawrence, and none of them will be going live for six months to a year as we still have to wait for Topeka, Kansas to be turned on first since Lawrence will be powered off of the Topeka main hub. |

| AHomeBoy2000. I live right by you according to where you put the pin in. I live opposite the 7/11 on Hassel, on Blackberry Lane, however when I check U-Verse availablity, it still states it is not available yet.
Can you provide the info on how to check if its available on not?
I see a vrad on Higgins and also on Hassel just down the street from me, so I have to think its available or will be very soon. |
