| reply to jayzala Uverse is a package deal to where we are currently offering
IPTV High Speed Internet And soon VOIP
in One package.
FTTP is nothing more than a designation for the physical carrier. It does not specifically list if you are on the DSL or Uverse Infrastructure.
Currently, Richardson Texas does not have Uverse deployed so you are on the DSL infrastructure. -- Eventus stultorum magister Ad Nocendum Potentes Sumus |

| SQirl, I have a question:
If you happen to be in Richardson and you happen to be FTTH, does this necessarily mean that we are going to get Uverse more quickly than say an ADSL customer in Dallas or wherever?
I understand why ATT has changed most of Richardson from FTTC to FTTH and it was not to speed up getting Uverse here. But now that we got it, why not use it? |

Also, does anyone know the number to call from AT&T to verify U-Verse service? |

[EDIT]: and not only that, it was "AT&T BROADBAND" (remember that adventure?) that originally pushed the launch of the digital voice on what is now comcasts networks. imagine what it would be like with at&t having almost everything now, and then still having AT&T BROADBAND...scary |

| They are in Plano for sure....trucks installing new accts right now. They came to my door and if I wasn't locked in with DirecTV I might consider it. When they split out just the internet portion I will be interested also. Or if I can get just VoIP/Net then I would sign up. I'm at McDermott and Independence in Plano. |

It merged with Comcast, and would not have been part of the SBC purchase of "AT&T". If "AT&T" had retained ATTBI, it would have been too expensive for SBC to buy it. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
