 BOClean Icon Has Disappeared

BOClean v4.22 and suddenly the systray icon has disappeared. Has not happened to v4.21 on two other PCs. Uninstall/reinstall has not changed the situation. Anyone else experiencing this?

Check this thread out, I think it will address what you are experiencing:

Is that the only icon missing?

Just a guess here but this is probably a Windows issue. Do a google search for systray icons missing.

You'll find links to disabling the SSDP Discovery Service and the UPNP Device Host. Others have found disabling the auto login if you are using that.

The links you find will show several options to try to narrow it down on your system.

Edit: Oh after reading the other posts it might occur if you were still using BOC 4.22.001 and not 4.22.002.

People pirated 4.22.001, you need to email boclean and request 4.22.002, and it will be fixed

Thanks to all who responded and I regret having bothered everyone. I first did a BBR search on "BOClean" but somehow missed the helpful threads. I have emailed them for build 002 and I'm sure all will be well soon.

This caught quite a few people off-guard, including me.
Goes to show we all can't be on top of every issue, all of the time.
