My guess is that WGA/OGA will move to a system that rents/licenses you for XXX hours (or XX days) of use for a particular MS product. You will have to connect to MS via the internet to purchase time credits for particular products. Thus, MS will be able to force periodic checks of your entire system for pirated copies of MS products, copyrighted materials, and DRM compliance (or DRM bypass hacks).
