The Rolling Stones are playing the Beacon Theatre Sunday night and Halloween night!
I got an email with ticket offer; but it is too late, and sold out, as Ticketmaster is no longer offering tickets. I guess the announcement went out on Friday night, or Saturday morning; as far as I can tell this is the first I have heard of it.

This ticket prices were like $22 to $55 (plus $9 'convenience' fee'). $22 at the Beacon is usually SRO.
As far as the ebay bid goes; the instructions clearly stated that if the wristbands look tampered with (i.e. removed from one person's wrists and placed on another's, you will not be let in). Done to prevent scalping. |

With concerts in NY, I am VERY suspicious as to the number of tickets actually available to the "general public", scalpers always seem to have plenty of tickets, and all of the shows sell out entirely too fast, to be selling tickets honestly.

| That's what I read in the paper. The ticket sales said that ID would be required at the door; it must match your credit card; and that tampered with wristbands would not get you in.
Good. They should do this at every concert. Hopefully it will end up denting the scalpers business in the long run? |

If anyone has tickets for the Beacon gig for tomorrow night, it has been rescheduled for Nov 1st.
Mick's throat is still bothering him and that is what caused them to cancel last Friday in Atlantic City...Now they have decided to cancel tomorrow's Halloween show to give him a days rest.
For those disappointed, remember..
