Works fine for me and my friends as well. We use it more for gaming though because we use it as a group and depending on what you use either Mic and speakers or digital headset is clear on our ends.

The basis of Skype is for communication not entertainment.

Skype is a VOIP application which does a piss poor job in my honest opinion in just that, press in a number during the call and the rest comes out all garbbled.

Companies need to stop with this all in one thing because it's not working and eventually every device would be the same in the market.

I prefer Gizmo project which is based off SIP and jabber and the quality is not only better I find it more reliable as well and never experienced any issues with it.

To top it all off it's going to be almost my main client soon because I can crosstalk between networks thanks to jabber.

Calls are not free but in the end you get what you pay for and I had a call in number a year ago for 3 months and it operated perfectly. I now have call out credits and the service is operating perfectly.
