Most people aren't motivated or smart enough to "figure out" Bittorrent or Usenet, so I'm sure getting rid of the Youtube files will cut out 95% of the pirated watching of the shows for Comedy Central...mission accomplished.

And that may be a prime reason for pulling down the YouTube versions. They want their own better quality product to be watched for artistic integrity.
