Hey you're not alone in this quest. I've got the same situation here, except that our only broadband option otherwise is satellite. We had to battle to get our DSL 7 months ago and it's been working flawlessly ever since. When I give a reference to AT&T for someone else, it takes weeks to get through the system to get it activated, because according to the records it's not available. After 7 mos. when we query the system, it still shows our number and address as not being available. How bout that? We are right at 14,000ft. from the CO. the last one on the line with enough signal to get it out here. But this is with 1950's era wiring etc.......... -- SBC/AT&T DSL Express Home 1536 dn. 384 up Dynamic IP Speedstream 4100 Modem Dell 2300 Pentium desktop Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop D-Link DI-624 Router Firefox 1.5 |
