DSL Pro Package?

I currently have the 12.99 DSL package with a 1 year contract ending in July, I am thinking about upgrading to the DSL Pro package at 24.99 with no term contract. If I upgrade to this new price plan what will happen to my contract, and will I see any pro-rating for changing my package mid billing cycle. I am in the Dallas market, if that helps.
