when karlmarx is to tell us that the 'bush regime's' right-wing, fundamentalist christian, nazi militant, anti-abortion, theo-con, neo-con policies have unduly influenced the the holy iranians to institute 128k broadband on all of their citizens, so they don't receive the daily indoctrination of the 'bush regime's' right-wing, fundamentalist christian, nazi militant, anti-abortion, theo-con, neo-con puppet policies. |

| The iranian regime is no worse than what the bush regime is STRIVING for. If bush had his way, the christians would be legislating morality for everyone in this country. 1 edit | hahaha!!! i wondered when your childish irrationality was going to rear it's ugly head. so now you want to play the moral equivalence game? that's fine, but again, while you are busy trying to proclaim both 'regimes' one and the same, you neglect that certain facts of islamic radical fundamentalism vs. christian fundamentalism.
Fact: Islamic regimes are primarily theocratic in nature and every islamic country makes no pretense of having a church/state separation (for what's it worth to even use that phrase). so for example, just recently the iranian regime executed two males, one 18, the other 16 by hanging them for the 'crime' of homosexuality. can you please tell me when the bush 'regime' has officially made homosexuality a crime and when did a state sanctioned execution of homosexuals in this country occur under this bush 'regime'?
why do you even bother? you are a child with child-like reasoning. you spew nonsense around here on a daily basis. even your idiotic tag line screams immature moron. "stick it to the MAN."? why does that convey an image of a 15 year old PFK (pimply faced kid) who oft proclaims the trivialities of life as being "so not fair". just stop already. i'm amazed anyone even reads your irrational diatribes against what you think you know as opposed to what is, and to how you wish the world was based on your fantasy and desires. just like how adults give a passing acknowledgement to a child's nannerings. |

| reply to Asmodeus FACT: The republican party PANDERS to FEARS of homosexuals. And I quote the headline "GOP ads warn of 'homosexual agenda' from S.F." »www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c···UNN1.DTL
FACT: The republican party is VERY anti-homosexual. "Bush wants marriage reserved for heterosexuals". »www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/07/···marriage
The bush REGIME is most certainly TRYING to make homosexuality a crime. Luckily, the radical right hasn't enough political power to make that happen... yet. So maybe you should grow up and open your eyes. Sure, you are a right wing nut-case, but that doesn't mean you have to be an anti-gay nut-case radical, like the bush regime -- Stick it to the MAN. 1 edit | reply to karlmarx oh i get it, so now you are playing the typical game of obfuscation and redirection... the problem is, is that you aren't the best representative of this particular magical act... since you answer my question to you about the differences on whether there was ever a state sanctioned execution of a homosexual by the so-called bush 'regime' like there is/was by the iranian theocratic regime, you blindly and chimpanzee-like start throwing your crap around at anyone or anything you think will make your stinky stick to... you do three things that are wrong here...
the first is by not answering the question, simply because you can't, are to willfully ignorant to think about such a request, and simply are incapable of understanding the simplest of statements...
the second is that you redirect your lack of intelligence, knowledge, and purposeful stupidity by setting up a strawman argument (look it up) by substituting the opinions of two articles and claiming they are facts... pandering against a homosexual agenda doesn't make you anti-homosexual... what a shock, but according to you and your two boogeyman articles by less than the fairest of sources on the subject, you seem to making the impression that at any given moment, homosexuals will jump out of bushes and trees and scare us all in a crisis of panic... run, run, the homosexual are coming!!! run for you lives, the velvet mafia is here!!!
the third thing you've done wrong is by claiming the bush 'regime' is trying to make homosexuality a crime... uh, excuse me, mr. genius sir, but uh, how is that possible...? since it is expressly forbidden by law to discriminate against such things as race, religion, creed, etc. etc., including something called sexual orientation... but, oh my god, the radical christian right has been fought back, by the relentless, tenacious, and tireless actions of people like you...
hehehe, don't you see how stupid you sound, much less how stupid you look... hell, why don't you just call christians, vampires with wings, that shoot fire out of their butts to singe the homosexual heretics where they stand because they lisp to much and carry on nauseatingly about interior decorating and stuff... oh, oh, how about this one to add to your list of terrible lies... bush likes to hold satanic rituals in the oval office while cheney, rumsfeld, and rice gather in a gaggle of pure white unchristened babies so they can suck their blood and turn them into voodoo dolls after they've shrunken their heads... yeah, that's a good one...
your problem is that you are an angry little kid with nothing better to do than repeat the same tired old kooky, leftist nonsense without a shred of proof or evidence to back up a single claim... you lash out like dust devil in a desert, all spin with nowhere to go... you just look silly, and you sound silly as well... you schtick is tiresome... how about you just drop the angry socialist/communist/anti-corporate/angry atheist act and take up ceramics or gardening... it might actually calm you down a little... you sound to young to be all pent up and constipated... relax, let go, have a healthy bowel movement once in a while... you know, the ones that after your done, make you feel like getting up and dancing cause you are 4 pounds lighter... try it, cause your game is pretty much done here... |

| reply to operagost Today we have the welfare state as a direct result of this philosophical creed. Today's Republicans wish to expand it, on the dual premise that it is the duty of the country and its most successful citizens to "share" the bounty, coupled with the "neocon" policy, that, since it exists, and since reducing or abolishing it would cause civil upheaval, it is best to just "deal with it" (and never mind the Republican record of abetting its growth over the last half century or more). This 'serve as thy brother's keeper' policy in government--indeed the whole 'moral' justification for taxation, the act of stealing from producers to give to non producers--is based firmly in religion. Teaching religious ideas to children will only further push us into this socialist/fascist state and eventually to theocratic dictatorship. -- Take care,

| I just found this thread, sorry for the late post but I had to say something. Dude I love conspiracy theories as much as the next disillusioned Gen X ball of angst, but neocons have nothing to do with the welfare state.
It's a direct descendant of FDR and the patricians, but only got it's growth spurt and became a self perpetuating 800lb gorilla under LBJ with his "Great Society" platform/policy. Look it up and report back to the class with what you've found - just kidding. -- Don't suspect your friends...turn them in. Brazil (if you haven't seen it, you should) |

| The welfare state concept goes back even further, but FDR could rightfully be considered the 'father of the welfare state' in the US. And LBJ oversaw the greatest inflationary spiral in recent US history, but that doesn't change the fact that the ideals of the Bush admin, the 'faith-based initiatives' are the philosophical roots of taxation.
BTW, mine on three takes out yours on eleven. And damn flat too. -- Take care,
