[DW7000] frontpage problems

I have a dw7000 that will not connect to any of my web servers with Frontpage....
I have played with all of the proxy settings and get parsing errors, or errors that my server doesn't have frontpage extensions....It does, and works fine with dialup here from home, or DSL at work.

Hughesnet says contact Microsoft...Microsoft says buzz off.

I have seen several posts with this problem, but they seem to end without resolve.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: [DW7000] frontpage problems

Are the FP sites you are trying to connect to on IIS6? If not, would you post one of the URLs?

I connect with my site with Frontpage/FTP with no problem. I cannot use the regular Frontpage service.

Re: [DW7000] frontpage problems

from netcraft.com: »ag911.com was running Microsoft-IIS on Windows Server 2003 when last queried at 31-Oct-2006 00:47:01 GMT

Check with the web administrator to be sure "Basic authentication" is turned on for the website. It is off by default in IIS6.

Is your proxy set to 192.168.0.1 port 87?

Re: [DW7000] frontpage problems

Yes, I have tried that. I have also toggled every button
in the explorer connections menu, done a complete restoration, and slapped the p*ss out of the monitor...
each time the results are a bit different.
With proxy set, it will bring up a login screen, but it acts as though the password is wrong and just keeps popping it back up. ( yes, I do remember my password correctly) All of my sites still work fine with dialup.

Re: [DW7000] frontpage problems

What type of setup are you running? OS, version of IE, version of FP? Firewall? Do you have multiple computers hooked through a router?

Details may help troubleshoot this further.

Could you setup a test account on a subweb on your website so I can test from here?

Re: [DW7000] frontpage problems

I had the same problem and the web host had to change my login to "basic authentication". The have had this problem before with Sat accounts.

I can't get Page either. But that's because I don't have Flash Player installed.

My screen comes up green with a Triangle Yeloow arrow with Exclamation point in Task bar.

Do you see a yellow traingle there when you attempt to retrieve?

Do you have Flash player installed?
