Myspace itself added an "Add" button to the music player on band profiles allowing you to add their track to your profile. How is that ANY different than if you owned the album it was on and uploaded it yourself?  |

| The difference is that in your example the band owns the music so they can do with it as they see fit. You only own the physical media ("the album") so unless you can figure out a way to stuff into your MySpace profile you have no right to make it available to anyone in another form. It's called redistribution. |
