The success of YouTube is that it is a marketing vessel, via viral-social-tribal distribution.
And as long as Viacom gets their piece of the action, everyone will be happy.
But in a way, wasn't Viacom already getting "a piece of the action" as a result of more people watching the Daily Show and Colbert Report because they were on YouTube?
