Well they do make it clear that there is no formal N standard, so I'm okay with that. So far I have had no problems with the 635. In fact it is the most stable unit I've ever used. If the 655 is designed to replace/fix something with the 635, I hope that problem isn't something I'll see.
Well almost a week later I get word from D-Link. Seems the DWA-552 listed as compatible with the 655 is also for the 635. Hopefully they will note that on the web site for the 635.
Speed isn't my biggest concern. My place is single story and very long. I have DSMs and DCSs that have no line of sight and have to work through 4 and 5 walls. So far, so good with the 635 and 7db antennae.
