Re: I'm dedicating most code changes/improvements to ..

More random stuff

1. An ability to group line monitors together (members of a group get free as in, no TP deduction, services) for the purposes of looking at an area or a single ISP or something. We used to do this manually in FAQs, but is was problematic and fiddly to do it that way
An example of a group:
»/testhistory?view=1

2. Instant message and online indicator auto-refreshes every 30 seconds (on capable browsers)

3. Java speed tests no longer need to be "clicked to activate"

4. The ability to find a forum suited to certain keywords has been improved, it now uses the proper site search database
»/forums/all

5. Further work to identify mysql and page construction bottlenecks

6. Improved the Profile+ editing system.

7. Various small fixes that escape me - mainly stuff broken by the above work.

10. Collection of old servers sitting on my living room table now up to 5 (4 rack mounts and 1 original tower). Hope to make it to 8 before i'm done.

Fire Sale!

Say, how 'bout some pics of such "historic" equipment?

6. Improved the Profile+ editing system.
did it break the display on the user pages, or is it supposed to look like this?

take bobrk See Profiles profile, for instance. There is a title Profile+ that is bolded, but then all the titles below it are not bolded, indented, or anything to distinguish them from the text.

But then the "RC5" and "Home Connection" titles are bolded like before.

RC5 and Home Connection
are section titles, so they are bold.

The rest are individual key : values and a couple of very large ones.

Great news for the search Because before it was VERY hit or miss...

And nice on the Auto refresh on the IM's I thought my eyes were playing a trick on me.

Regarding the "group line monitors"...when signing up, you enter your zip but nothing shows up to reference the area a participant is from. Perhaps I'm just missing something, but when looking at the "group" I would find it useful if I knew the area a member was in.

Any chance we can update using a domain name (DynDNS in my case)?

Correcting one "looser" at a time.
