Adelphia to Comcast VOD transition

first of I dont think this belonds in the HSI "adeplhia to comcast" transition form so PLEASE dont lock it and say put it there, this isn't about HSI

We had our VOD service transitioned to Comcast on Oct 31st... and since then we can not use Video ondemand at all, it always comes up with an error saying service unavailable, it worked great on adelphia up to the point adelphia transitioned to comcast, since then nothing... and we were told it would be working again on Oct 31st, but nothing... anyone know whats going on? this is in teh indiana pa area on the blairsvile, pa headend

Which VOD channel(s) can't you get? I know in this area, there were a few that Comcast did not have a contract with, and were dropped.

Most likely, they somehow missed putting the Comcast VOD code on your account. Call in and you should be fixed quickly.

What channels were transitioned? Mine still say Adelphia up in the top left corner and stuff. And they're the same old ones.

The only ones that looks new or transitioned are the Gotuit ones.

Anyone know when stuff like HBO On Demand and stuff with be transitioned? And when us Adelphia customers will get all the On Demands that Comcast customers have?

Anyone know if the Frederick, Maryland area is getting Comcast's On Demand offerings starting 11-15 as well? I noticed our I guides have both had problems with the "to be announced" thing more then usual, and it seems like the program listings take more time to download and fill in. I was curious if this could be the reason.

Tim.

I don't know....very good question. It is the same here in Frederick too. We have had the I-guide for about 2 years I guess. I keep hearing rumors of something happening on the 15th (tommarow), but I will believe it when I see it cause we have got nothinng in the mail and there is still Adelphia adds in our newspaper. Although the offers in the paper expire tomarrow. We have both Comcast and Adelphia commericals on TV equal I would say. I am just anxious for the Comcast VOD library cause ours in Frederick is nothing at least now. All the lifestyle and learning section has is that dumb "Health Education" PSA, wow is it bad. Anyway, I'll be crossing my fingers. I'm ready to get rid of DMX for music choice too, if anyone knows anything else hopefully they will post.
