Justin has given us the ability to group line monitors together for the purposes of looking at an area's ISPs. Members of a group get free, as in no TP deduction, line monitoring services for now.

Would anyone be interested in this if I started a group for our forum? You can find an example of a group here.
Line monitoring is not very hard to set up. The FAQ about it can be found here.
If anyone is interested in this please post in this thread. I will need to set up the group and then invite you into the group.

You also might want to add your location in the Public Comment area of your monitor.

Remember you need to be pingable. You also need to go to »/prefs/flair and select "My home connection" and enter the info there. It will appear by your graph so that others will know what service, etc you have.

If you are using a router, it must be set up to accept WAN requests. Check your firewall to make sure it's setup correctly for line monitoring. »Line Monitoring FAQ

I just found something out last night about the line monitoring and forgot to share it.
There is no need for third party software - if your IP changes, you can always edit your monitor to reflect the new IP.
You just need to do 2 things:
1) enter static or dynamic IP
2) check the "dynamic" box
You must do both.
So don't let having a dynamic IP stop you from joining in.

Unfortunately the monitor is only monitoring the network operations center of my ISP. When I run DR.Ping my results are "Sorry, your median latency (992ms) is too bad to be sensible
Your result will not be recorded..." yet this is typical of satellite ISP latency due to the distance traveled to the satellite, 22,000 miles. Sorry
