| Wonder what this really means
Since most (about 90%?) of my spam appears to have a non-US address, does this mean that even though we are the largest relayer that most spam comes from elsewhere or that we are the largest spammer and we relay via other countries?
Also, I wonder what the numbers would look like if they went by percentage of computers in a country vice a raw number? This is like saying since group X commits 70% of the murders in a town then they are mostly bad and group Y only commits 30% so they are better. But if you see that group X makes up 90% of the population and group Y makes up 10%, then you get a different picture.
(to work out the numbers in the above example, assume 1000 people and 100 murders performed. Thus group X has 900 people, 70 murderers, for a 7.78% rate, while group Y has 100 people, 30 murderers, for a 30% rate.) -- I am not lost, I find myself every time. |
