I am in the market for an Extended warranty for my car. I came across "Auto Advantage Inc", (»www.autowarranties.com). I couldn't find more information (good or bad) about this company. Hence wondering if anyone here has a warranty thru them or know about them.

1 edit | Can you get a sample of the actual policy prior to signing on or paying? If yes, carefully review the exclusions. It may well be within the rights of an insurer to amortize all replacement parts. In other words, if a transmission is 10 years old, they could declare it's worth $75 or like that. | |

Here is for my 2002 Nissan Xterra, that the factory warrinty ran out 5k miles ago. They sent me 3 chices for warrinty. If you guys say this place is good, I will probially be getting the first one with a zero $ deductable.

I would suggest talking to a shop that has had to make a claim on someone's policy.
I have seen a wide range of these insurance policies, some are good, some are not. Some interpret the contracts fairly, some do not. In the some of the examples shown, to varying degrees, even if interpreted equitably, there are exclusions that would result in common repairs not being covered.
It really is a bit of a gamble, hope it works out ok.

Go to the dealer and ask if they sell a used car extended warranty. You never know they may and their warranty would be covered more places and be better. | |
