Correct me if I'm wrong, but looks like in Firefox 2 the throbber isn't clickable, even if you manually add the entry for it in about:config.

Apex, NC		 MTLI 5.3.1.1 also enables the throbber click, and it even honors the old browser.throbber.url setting.

1 edit		 I do not use the throbber myself but MTLI does enable that feature for those that use the extension.

I like Fission Extension for the page progress.
