You are correct but the blue of old is not the same blue of today. Tennesse has never been or will ever be a MA type blue. Now my problem is that Mr. Brainiac OP wants to link Bush/House/Senate to Clarksville muni decision and that has nothing to do with that but of course it serves his worldview. Just look at the tags used on this thread. The one tag missing is "POLITICS" they way it should be.

Tennessee is not a red state. It was always blue before the Bush 2 era. Three election cycles does not change a color if history is overwhelmingly the opposite. |

Stupidity usually does. His rant is just wrong based on location of Clarksville,TN. It might make sense if it was some other area. Clarksville is in Montgomery county which is pretty much a 50/50 county in a pretty red state.
