I assume you are looking for one with a built-in switch?

If not, why would you need to route gigabit on DSL?

I think what he is looking to do is have the modem and router in one box. The gigabit will allow the computers on the LAN fast connection. I don't know of any modem/router combos that support gigabit ethernet (which is not to say they don't exist) so he may have to just settle with two separate boxes.
