Bush and the republican REGIME are so pro megacorp, they were passing laws left and right to prevent the towns from doing what they wanted. The bush REGIME supports the megacorps, not the citizens. That's the fundamental problem. When the govt is no longer for the people, but instead the govt is for the megacorporation, we've all lost. The citizens of Clarksville clearly stated they WANT their town to provide them with options. The citizens of Clarkville clearly stated they WANT to keep the money in the LOCAL economy. And that, of course, is what the fat cat republican scum just can't tolerate. Why, it could lead to *gasp*, a FREE electorate!
