Any ports blocked for business class Internet?

Ordering Business class service as backup line (firewall does WAN load balance and failover.

Does Patmedia block any ports such as 25, etc?

I have the home user service, but i have not noticed any ports being blocked. But then again, I use funky ports for my services.

Hi mboy

Patriot Media does not block any well known ports, i.e. 25, 53, 110... there are a few security related ports that are blocked, they are UDP Netbios data transfer related ports. I have not heard of any businesses having an issue with the Patmedia network that blocked services they were running.

Best of luck
Dan

Thank you for your feedback.

Had the install today (will be load balance/redundant WAN connect for/with my Full T1.

Few more public Ip's and I would make it my main line and have the T1 as the backup (which I may do anyway).
