What is the evidence to back that up? Broadband penetration could be doing MUCH better. And unfortunately, there already is "government oversight," it just makes no sense. There needs to be a reformation of that oversight, changing franchise rules but also encouraging local municipalities to start their own network in the absence of the big players. The US has gotten continuously lower on the list of country's with the deepest penetration. |
