Violates TOS????

Wrongo -- if you SHARE the connection yes, but if it is for an individual and you meet all the other requirements than no problem.

I have a client that needs EVDO on the road to connect to the office. The problem has been the connection from laptop card to external antenna is too easy to break as they work through the day (mobile vet) and move the laptop around. So --- one 3G router that is "permanently" mounted to the van and the external antenna, and the laptop is now wireless in the van. Easy of movement, fixed cables stay fixed and TOS compliance maintained.
