Dynamic IP does not seem to work unless there is an IP address also entered in the Static IP.

Originally did setup with my current Dynamic IP, monitoring did not work. Did what crewfan69 did (put in IP number as static) and monitor worked.

Then without removing Static IP, checked box for Dynamic IP and put number in. Monitor worked.

Let it run this way for a day, then removed only the Static IP number and the monitor stopped.

Have now returned to entries in both Static and Dynamic (with Dynamic still checked) and monitoring has resumed.

Looks to me like the "dynamic feature" does not really work as advertised.

Hey its working now. After a week without data I changed the setup to static from dynamic and a few hours later I had data. Changed back to dynamic and its working.

I am not sure why it is not working if you have done everything correctly and you know you are pingable.

Check your current IP address to make sure it is the same one entered into the monitor.

Well skj its been about two days and still no data results. I'm in the Charter HSI Monitor list but nothing there either. Not even my IP. So, what now?

I set up monitoring yesterday afternoon (Feb. 15) and have yet to see any data, or graphs on the Results page. I have a dynamic account. Should I edit Monitor Control and place my IP in the static field? Also, I just disabled SPI in my router's set up page and I am pingable.
