RTFA please

If you truly believe that then you have no understanding on how spam has been working over this past year. I deal with a mail server on a regular basis. These people are in it purely for the money.
How they actually get paid is beyond me. My guess is from the ignorant people who actually click on everything presented in front of them on a computer.
The article doesn't mention any specific sides. Its a very short paragraph about how they *believe* the attack was supposed to coincide with the US election. Most likely to either disrupt the election or gain a ton of user information to steal more money and create more zombie machines.
If you read carefully its almost all opinion based. There are no facts substantiating their points of view. The idea of spam deciding the outcome of an election is a far stretch in the first place. You don't vote via e-mail. You vote at a voting precinct, in/at a voting booth. Here in VA we used electronic booths. They are not connected to the internet, so there is the internet is a non-issue.

lol. I just put rtfa. I wasn't trying to be nasty lol. And I wasn't concerned really whether you were a dem or a repub. I just wish people would read the articles first.
To be honest I don't know how or why this story even merits being on the front page lol. It was a very very short piece and didn't have any real substantial evidence. The thing is both parties have problems. And both have done very unscrupulous things both past and present. What wasn't shown was evidence linking that any real political figures were even involved in this piece. And its a long shot that they'll ever find anyone to link to these things. That is what happens I suppose when idealism in government is killed.
So no hard feelings
