| [ Cable] Aol connect with Norton Firewall issue
My neighbor really messed his pc up by having several "anti-virus" programs running all at once. He first had and un-installed (he thought) Norton and then installed McAfee. On top of that he had AOL Security running and something else. After getting most squared away and cleaned out we got Norton up and going but now AOL refuses to connect saying it's detected a firewall. We did what it suggested by finding the (4) files and adding to allow and it still won't connect. I told him my best bet was to stop using Norton and just use XP's built infirewall. What's his best recourse? By the way he's connecting with Comcast.
