Re: Urgent help with Tsunami

Thanks for your help.

Trying to load the version 2.2.6 or later I get all leds amber and the last blinking green. According to Proxim knowledge base this means the hardware is not compatible with the upgrade. So I keep seeking for version 1.2 with no luck...

I just sent you an email, but just in case you didn't get it.

You should connect a serial cable to the unit to determine why the radio doesn't like the new firmware. Unless you have a corrupted flash there is no reason for the radio not to take the upgrade.

If you wish you can send me the output from the serial connection so I can try to help you.

I don't have version 1.2, but have 2.0 and 2.1 if these help. You can also find firmwares here but they don't have 1.2 either: »www.cyberbajt.pl/cyber.php?i=dow···%2Cmp11a

You might be able to get Proxim to email you the older firmware...

The problem is I can not find the firmware version 1.2 (this unit is rather old).Recent version releases are not compatible. Where can I find this version (Proxim site only shows version 2.2.6 and above. Please help.
Question: Can I use another unit to get the firmware I need
How

Thanks in advance.
