500ft is a stretch for a Tropos if you're indoor. Line of sight is better.
I maintain an eight Tropos network, very small comparing to Google or any other muni. Fortunately I don't own it, just paid for mtc. I can't see how the owner make money based on number of problems. |

Mountain View, CA | The service is free. I am in contact with Google and they have said they will add a node closer to my house. It seems that the node that is 500+ feet away from me does not give constant and consistent connection. |
