[Rant] Taco fsck'n bell

The latest one to go into the non transfat oil crap!
McDonalds is talking about it too.
Soon there isn't going to be any fast food that tastes good(foods fried in non-tranfat oil have a dusty-musty aftertaste)
I wish all these health conscience fanatics would just "ESAD".
you want to eat healthy? thats your choice but don't force me to eat your fucked up foods

Eh, it'll only be a short while until they find a trans-fat alternative that will give them a few years before people catch on. In the end, it'll probably be worse for you than the trans-fat.

I bet it has something to do with the cost of oil and they found a cheaper oil that just happens to be non transfat. wouldn't surprise me one bit.

This won't make the Taco Bell Shits (tm) go away, so it really isn't a big deal. That is all.

It makes me sad that I don't get that after eating Taco Bell. It makes me feel left out.

I personally haven't noticed anything different with food that has gone trans-fat free.

IMO, I would rather live longer to eat these somewhat unhealthy foods, than to die sooner possibly because of trans fats.

I bet you just occasionally eat fast food so you don't notice the difference. anyone that eats it regularly would notice it right away.

Have to agree with you on this one.
I am old enough to remember when these foods actually tasted good.
The fries, the burgers actually tasted good.
Just not the same anymore.
Haven't been to one of these places in months know.
Usually go to small, off the beat places where the food actually tastes good.
You can add the popcorn in shows now to your list.
Tastes like crap since they changed the oil they use.

Well anyone that is old enough to remember the early seventies(and before) will remember when McDonalds' fries were MUCH better, most people had to get two orders of fries because one never made it home, now they are hard most of the time.

But back then very few people ate there(or any fastfood place) regularly, most meals were at home at the table with the family and the only time you went there was a "special" occasion or you were out doing stuff and were too busy to cook, or young people "on a date".

I always eat at Wendy's there burgers taste better than anyone else and frankly so does there fries. Of course I exercise regularly simply so I can eat fast food regularly. I noticed a slight change after all because they changed the cooking oil but the fries are still good. Frankly I always liked burger king fries.

McDonalds has nasty everything and I avoid them like the plague or to shortly put it. I simply don't eat fast food at McDonalds, ever.

Actually for the majority of the places for the food to actually taste good, you need to go when there is a rush. The food is constantly being made and doesn't have time to sit around.

Oh thats when i go. long as things keep moving you're actually liable to get something "made fresh" course you still get the same old withered yellow lettuce and stale buns that everyone gets. is there an unwritten rule about fast food having green lettuce and breads being fresh?
-
On a side note can wendys still be called 'olde fashioned' if they're using this crap oil that makes everything taste like crap?
