Technically, there is no bandwidth limit down here at UIUC. Just change your MAC address, and you're good to go.
Of course, they tend to notice if 27 computers log on within a 4 hour period in your room.

| Yeah, my friend said they notice the change in mac address and one student had his ENTIRE ROOM (not just his puter) removed from network and faced disciplinary action...
So yes, technically there IS a bandwidth limit... there is just a work around.

| the easiest way to bypass content protection would be to have a server on the outside you can use as an intermediary.
theres threads about this every year in this forum. basically if your not willing to fork up any money, you have very few options. |
