The issue that keeps me away is the strict TOS and price. Price is high enough to keep many away, but add in the TOS, and I won't touch that for my business (VPN/SSH/X-11/Rdesktop). I'd be kicked off in the 1st week. Transferred 4GB in one afternoon last week alone.
Personally, I'd take UMTS for its GSM abilities (seemless roaming, SIM's, etc), however, Cingular does not offer UMTS in Los Angeles, and doesn't plan to until ~ July 2007. |

I'm not aware of anything like that at Cingular. I use RDP and SSH, SkypeOut all the time and never had any problem. Price is very reasonable, I think, unlimited for $20/month. quote: Personally, I'd take UMTS for its GSM abilities (seemless roaming, SIM's, etc), however, Cingular does not offer UMTS in Los Angeles, and doesn't plan to until ~ July 2007. Where did you hear that? AFAIK they will have most of the US cities covered by next Summer. |
