Re: Any ports blocked for business class Internet?

Hi mboy

Patriot Media does not block any well known ports, i.e. 25, 53, 110... there are a few security related ports that are blocked, they are UDP Netbios data transfer related ports. I have not heard of any businesses having an issue with the Patmedia network that blocked services they were running.

Best of luck
Dan

Re: Any ports blocked for business class Internet?

Thank you for your feedback.

Had the install today (will be load balance/redundant WAN connect for/with my Full T1.

Few more public Ip's and I would make it my main line and have the T1 as the backup (which I may do anyway).
