Re: I wrote a review of picking a satellite internet provider...

Some answers/comments:

-I have NOT signed up for ANY provider yet. The feedback here is making me think I should stick with my 128kbps ISDN! Hmmm...

-I have little additional information on Unasat or other companies, which is not to say that I couldn't GET it, but just that it sounds like pulling teeth!

-I'm writing this from my perspective, which is that of somebody who, though interested in VOIP and VPN, is not making them part of the search criteria.

-I think I'll add an "alternatives to satellite" section, (e.g. Verizon Air Card, etc.) though that's not an option for me. (wish it was!)

-My writeup is largely about the SEARCH for a provider, and it looks like Hughes' SALES bedside manner has little to do with how they treat you the next day, huh? (catching the metaphor here? )

-So, to whom then, do you suppose, in my conclusion, I should send people?!? I'm at a loss.

Thanks,

-Dan
