| DVI connection with xbox 360...possible?
I was just wondering if this was possible? I have a RCA HDTV, which is around 5 years old. It has a DVI connection on the back, and then the usual component connections, which I currently use. I was thinking about getting the 360 hd-dvd drive, but heard it won't up convert regular DVD's through the component. I know the 360 supports VGA, and I have seen VGA > DVI cables around. So would it be possilbe to use the VGA cables connected to the VGA>DVI cable?
thanks for any help or suggestions! |

| You could try this:

You might also need a gender adapter. I don't know for sure if it would work. -- I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy. |

| reply to Post Op If you are talking about converting VGA to DVI it wont work...If your not then proceed with the experiment. But anyway here is a post on the xbox forums about the VGA to DVI adapters. »forums.xbox.com/7969114/ShowPost.aspx -- Wildblue Pro Pack / Beam 40 / Laredo NOC / Windows MCE SP2 |
