for SNR margin, what is the most good number.. a big number or smaller number (dB)...

my modem show me...some time SNR margin = 6.0 dB... and today about 3.0 dB...

sawi, your SNR is low, do u have disconnection problems?

> 6dB or below is bad and will experience no synch or intermittent synch problems
> 7dB-10dB is fair but does not leave much room for variances in conditions
> 11dB-20dB is good with no synch problems
> 20dB-28dB is excellent
> 29dB or above is outstanding

lately my line seems to be better, around 8-9 dB now. but on some days [rarely] can go up to 20 dB. guess its the streamyx problem at thier exchange.
i've called streamyx technician to check my phone line. because the dc not so much now, tho snr is still kinda low, he couldnt do anything.
