| [Update] Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility "This utility installs INF files that inform the operating system how to properly configure the chipset for specific functionality such as USB and AGP."

Don't know how many use it, but I do.
If you have an Intel on-board graphics chipset, you may want to give it a look-see. |

|
 | One is in zip format and they other is an auto.exe. |

| said by Keizer:Is this something that can be installed anytime? I was told that it has to be installed right after a fresh install of the OS. . . . I think ideally that would be the situation, but not specifically necessary. Once installed, it will make sure that any further driver installations re: the chipset are configured properly between driver & motherboard. These are .inf files. Technically speaking, contrary to what CylonRed posted, they are not actually themselves drivers, I don't believe. A minor point, yet possibly significant nonetheless. -- Post first, think later. |
